Radio Seeing Data

To measure the tropospheric phase stability (Radio Seeing) at Llano de Chajnantor, ESO has installed an interferometer consisting of two 1.8 m offset feed antennas in a 300 m East-West baseline. This interferometer observes an unmodulated beacon at 11.198 GHz, broadcasted from a geostationary satellite, and measures the phase difference between the signals received by the two antennas.
